Join us at Double Dane Games on Friday, March 29th at 6pm for Standard format followed by Pauper at around 10:00pm. New and seasoned players welcome! It doesn’t matter if you’re just starting out or if you’ve been playing at home or at school for years. If you’re ready for a little friendly competition and the chance to win some prizes, or would just like to hang out with other local MTG players, be sure and drop by for a good time.
This Friday features Standard format ($5) followed by Pauper ($5).
A Standard deck consists of a minimum of sixty cards. Although there is no maximum deck size, a player must be able to shuffle his or her deck without assistance. Standard format provides for an optional sideboard of up to 15 fifteen cards. A player’s sideboard and deck combined may not contain more than four copies of any given card (land cards excepted).

Pauper (not to be confused with Peasant) is a format generally played online, but at DDG we like to do it in paper. Decks are constructed from all common cards and have a minimum size of 60 cards with a maximum 15 card sideboard. No more than four of any specific card (except basic lands) may be used.
